CHI St. Alexius Health has provided quality service to Bismarck-Mandan and surrounding areas since 1885. We are excited to serve the needs of our community and your employees with expanded Occupational Medicine services. With a skilled team of Occupational Medicine providers, CHI St. Alexius Health Occupational Medicine will help workers and companies achieve and maintain the highest standard of health and well-being for the worker. Whether you seek preventative medicine services, pre-employment services or injury management, we strive to provide you quality, personalized service to meet your needs in a timely manner.

CHI St. Alexius Health Occupational Medicine Clinic is open to see anyone who has sustained an injury or illness at their work or has sustained an injury or illness that is preventing them from returning to work. The clinic is an urgent care/convenient care clinic.

We offer access to a comprehensive line of services including physical and occupational therapy, ergonomic evaluation, drug testing, imaging (diagnostic radiology, CTs, MRIs), laboratory services, fitness services and access to a large network of services, specialists and medical facilities. In addition to the Bismarck location, we also offer occupational health services in Mandan and Minot.

Clinic Staff

 

Beth Perius
Dr. Perius, PhD, ENP, FNP-C, joined CHI St. Alexius Health’s Occupational Medicine Clinic and will work with the occupational medicine team to provide prevention and treatment for work-related illnesses and injuries. She is a certified medical examiner (CME) and performs physical examinations for interstate commercial vehicle drivers, (DOT physicals).

Jeanne Dekrey
Physical Therapist - Jeanne is the Occupational Health Coordinator with over 30 years of Physical Therapy experience. She is involved in work injury prevention through pre-work screening, ergonomic intervention and work assessment. Jeanne also provides acute care and rehabilitation for work injuries including Workability assessments and Functional Capacity Assessments.

Adrienne Biles
Return-to-Work Case Manager - Adrienne works collaboratively with the injured worker, employer, medical provider and claims adjuster at WSI to facilitate the appropriate medical care, develop solutions to obstacles in the recovery process and minimize work and life disruption caused by injury and/or illness. Case management is an available resource to the injured worker, employer and medical provider for work-related injury management and disability prevention.

Myron Cullen
Assistant Director - Myron is assistant director of CHI St. Alexius Health Occupational Medicine as well as the Human Performance Center, which provides adult outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, sports medicine, acceleration and fitness services.  Myron has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 1979.

Exercise Physiologists

 

Seth Zentner
HPC GymOffice Service Assistant – Seth assists injured workers and employers to coordinate and arrange for the services they need. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Wellness and has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 2012.

Shane Ornelas
Exercise Physiologist – Shane performs testing and screening services for workers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minor in Physical Education from North Dakota State University. He has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 2014, and splits his time between Cardiac Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, and training athletes with the Athletic Republic Acceleration program.

Tyler Fleck
Exercise Physiologist – Tyler performs testing and screening services for workers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Mary and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine. He has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 2012, and splits his time between Cardiac Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, and training athletes with the Athletic Republic Acceleration program.

Jordan Morman
Exercise Physiologist – Jordan performs testing and screening services for workers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from North Dakota State University. He has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 2008, and splits his time between Cardiac Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, and training athletes with the Athletic Republic Acceleration program.

David Ukestad
Exercise Physiologist – David performs testing and screening services for workers. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from University of Mary and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine with certifications as a Health Fitness Specialist and a Clinical Exercise Specialist. He has been an associate of CHI St. Alexius Health since 2007, and splits his time between Cardiac Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, and fitness services at the Human Performance Center.
