Home Care and Hospice

The mission of St. Alexius Home Care is accomplished by providing families with continuing care in the home environment. Home Care/Hospice believes that patients should be afforded the opportunity to choose the health care setting that they believe will meet their social as well as their medical needs. Home Care/Hospice offers services to all, regardless of race, color, creed, sex, age, national origin, or disability and promotes equal opportunity for advancement at all job levels.

Home Care/Hospice assists the patient and the family to choose a plan that makes the best use of appropriate, cost effective community resources that leads to independence and happiness. Home Care, Extend-A-Care exists to provide private pay services that are not imposed by the regulatory limitations of the Medicare-certified home health agency, enabling more supportive services that can be provided.

Home Care, Hospice has the responsibility to foster each human being's right to life and the decisions regarding quality of life and dying with dignity in an environment of their choice. Hospice recognizes that each individual is a member of a family and that these relationships are central to planning hospice care.
