St. Alexius Medical Center is hosting the 23rd Annual Hospice Memorial Tree Planting on Wednesday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. The tree planting ceremony is an opportunity to remember loved ones. Deceased patients are recognized and their lives celebrated during a prayer service followed by the tree planting. Bereaved families are invited to write their loved one’s name on a piece of paper to be planted with the tree. Hospice volunteers are also recognized and thanked.
The event is open to the public. Families are asked to meet in St. Alexius’ Boniface Auditorium. For easy access, visitors can park by the East Patient Entrance at 10th and Rosser. The memorial service is followed by an open house and fellowship in Boniface Auditorium.
