EARN AND LEARN: Hospitalist Fellowship Combination with rural Primary Care
Unique opportunity for upcoming graduates of Family Practice residency program who wish to earn as a family physician and learn as a hospitalist fellow (and if needed during this time fulfill any (J-1, H-1) visa requirements).
St. Alexius Medical Center (308-bed tertiary care hospital in capital city; Bismarck, North Dakota) and its affiliates (25-bed critical access hospitals) in rural North Dakota are looking for residency trained family physicians for a full-time, rural primary care practice with an option of learning in Hospital Medicine Fellowship in a tertiary care academic center. The position is also eligible for J1/H1 visa sponsorship. On an average will need to work 3 weeks in a critical access hospital and 1 week in fellowship program over three years total. Must do 2080 hours in a year in rural hospital setting if needed to fulfill the J1/H1 visa requirements.
St. Alexius Medical Center has 240 physicians representing most specialties including a robust Hospitalist and Intensivist program that provide support to primary providers at Critical Access Hospitals.
