Each year, the Fraternal Order of Police and Santa Clause in Bismarck visit St. Alexius Medical Center to bring joy and hope to the children and their families in the hospital on Christmas Eve.
Prolonged exposure to low temperatures, wind or moisture—whether it be out for a walk or in a stranded car—can result in cold-related illnesses such as frostbite and hypothermia.
There were no alarms or smoke at St. Alexius Thursday, but a group of firefighters arrived just the same in their big, red fire truck.
St. Alexius is proud of its huge pine tree that stands in the middle of the Medical Center’s courtyard.
St. Alexius Medical Center will receive recognition from the American Lung Association for its new building in Bismarck.
