Dr. Robert Wells joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in February 2013 as member of the TODAY Clinic.
A native of Robinson, N.D., Dr. Wells graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Jamestown College, and earned his Doctor of Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, N.H. Dr. Wells completed his residency at the UND Family Practice Center in Bismarck where he received the William M. Buckingham, M.D. Outstanding Resident Award in 2001.
Prior to joining the clinic, Dr. Wells worked as a primary care physician in Jamestown and provided weekend walk-in clinic coverage in Fargo. Additionally, he served as Chief of Staff and governing board member at Jamestown Regional Medical Center where he also provided hospitalist, obstetric and emergency room services.
Dr. Wells is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and president of the North Dakota Academy of Family Physicians. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been licensed to practice in North Dakota since 1999.
