Dr. Charles Dahl joined The Bone & Joint Center in 1981. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the care of patients with severe fractures, of the arms, hips and legs. He has experience in total joint replacements.
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Dr. Dahl graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor’s degree. He received medical degrees from the University of North Dakota Medical School and the University of Texas Health/Science Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas. He completed his residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. There he took 6 months extra training in trauma and fracture care under Dr. Berndt Claudi from Germany. He also specializes in the treatment of arthritis of the hip and knee. Dr. Dahl has extensive experience in the care of fractures, sports related injuries and other traumas.
Dr. Dahl currently sits on the Trauma committee of CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and the foundation for the study of trauma and fractures. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
