Memory loss is considered the number one concern among older adults. November is Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month. This screening assists in identifying people who may have a memory problem and who require follow up with a physician or qualified healthcare professional.

The screening consists of a series of questions and tasks that check one's memory, language skills and thinking ability. 

All ages are welcome to attend.

Health screenings are not intended to replace a consultation with your physician. The goals of a health screening are to alert people of a health risk that might otherwise go undetected and recommend follow up with a physician as needed. The St. Alexius Community Health and Wellness Program provides education on the risk factors that increase one's chances of developing a health condition as well as lifestyle choices that can help reduce those risks.
