St. Alexius Gets Rare Visit from Prominent Mayo Physician

Mayo Clinic’s Edward Loftus, MD, made a special visit to St. Alexius on Friday, November 1. Dr. Loftus gave a presentation and met with several St. Alexius physicians.

Dr. Loftus is one of the most nationally and internationally-known physicians in gastroenterology (GI), a specialty area of medicine focused on disorders of the digestive system. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He also is a professor of medicine and gives talks all across the nation on digestive disorders.
