Jennifer Bryan, nurse practitioner at The Clinics of St. Alexius, recently completed a Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) full scope education program through webWOC. The webWOC nurse education program is administered in partnership with Metropolitan State University College of Nursing and Health Sciences, St. Paul, Minnesota. It is one of eight programs accredited by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society. WOC nurses provide direct care of patients and play a pivotal role as educator, consultant, researcher and/or administrator of optimal patient care.
The Wound Care Program enhances quality of life for patients suffering from acute and chronic wounds and improves patient outcomes through wound healing and prevention.
Bryan earned her nursing degree and family nurse practitioner master’s degree from University of Wyoming. She joined St. Alexius in 2007. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
