i was found to have ddd in my c3 thru c7 minot operated 2 and sent me to nebraska for my 3rd operation, i got to see doc belanger, 4 months after my 3rd surgery he quickly saw what my problem was. and performed surgery that should have been done 10 years ago. he is a great doctor and his staff is well trained. you are the best. I recently was in with a friend who was having a angiogram.
There was a delightful young lady at the waiting room desk. She kept track of everyone's name and who they were with. She made everyone feel comfortable,welcome, informed, and in general cared about. Her name is Jillian S. and if I had a position for her working with the public, she would have it. You have great volunteers but some would also be excellent employees since you are in the "People" business.

I enjoy your hospital atmosphere very much. My husband has had many procedures preformed there and our daughter was born there last June and we spent 9 1/2 long weeks with her in the NICU. Everybody in the NICU was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and always shared special moments with us and our beautiful daughter. Keep up the great work.

This is a great website. You should make it though so if you want to see a baby online, you can just type in the birthdate and it will bring them up, no matter how long ago it was.

On February 14th 2003, our daughter was born at St Alexius, she arrived a month early and was delivered fine, she then had to go into the NICU for a couple of days to watch her breathing. Then on May 16th 2006, our son was born at St Alexius and after a long day he was delivered by
C-section. Then after a few days we went home. Those two stays were as expected for a maternity stay. The one stay that I hope I never have to go through again, happened on October 26th 2006, when what I thought was a cold for my 5 month old baby turned out to be much worse. He was having trouble breathing and our hospital in South Dakota sent him up to St Alexius and the staff in the Children's Care Unit are EXCELLENT!! I could never in all my live Thank them all enough!! The called in a throat Doctor and she ordered a Cat Scan and that is when they found a abscess on the back of his throat and that was cutting off his air supply. They said his passage for breathing was the size of a pin hole. They put him to sleep and did surgery and drained the abscess. I believe they gave me a new child, before this incident he was cranky all the time never smiled much or move his head around. After the surgery he is so active and smiles and moves his head all over. The nurses that took care of my son are forever in my heart. I truly owe my life to them, the Doctor said that if I waited another 24 hours that he would not be here today. So for that Thank You, each and every one of you at St Alexius that was there for me at my time of need!!! God Bless you all.

Everyone in my family has chosen to come to St Alexius for their surgeries since I had mine with Dr Murthy a number of years ago. St Alexius and Mid Dakota Clinic are the ABSOLUTE BEST anywhere.We cannot say enough about Dr's Hutchens, Murthy, Bopp,Bury,Monaske, Aducci,and all the friendly nurses and staff! When my husband & I found out we’re going to be parents we were so ecstatic. We didn’t know what the road would lead to. When my pregnancy became complicated and my husband became very ill. My husband’s doctor and Dr. Hutchins & his nurses pulled out all the stops & helped us through the trying times. At about nine weeks early; our son was born, weighing 3 lb. 7oz and became part of the family at NICU for 8 weeks, during this time he had many ups & downs but the NICU staff held our hands and kept us comfortable and informed of all the procedures that were taking place. NICU & The Center for woman became a big part in our lives for many months. We extend out gratitude and keep them in our prayers often. You will always be in good hands when you are at St. Alexius Medical Center.

I recently had surgery at St A's and the care I received was incredible! Everyone from the OR, to recovery to the nurses who took care of me in my room were the best I have ever had elsewhere. I thank you all very much for a fine hospital and very fine staff. I will never again go to another hospital...St A's is my choice from now on, even if I do have drive 150 miles to get to you! I'm really glad you have a clinic now in Minot...now all you need to do is build a hospital there.

I grew up in Bismarck, graduated from BHS in '69 and moved to CA with my family. I moved back to Bismarck the following year and took the nurse's aide training class at St. A's. I then worked there for about six months before moving back to California, where I still live.
Every once in awhile, I go on-line to check things out in Bismarck. I'm impressed by how much Bismarck has grown and how much St. A's has grown since I was there. It was a fantastic hospital and place to work back then and it looks like it still is! Congratulations on all of the wonderful work you do!
