St. Alexius Medical Center is the first Magnet Hospital in North Dakota, so designated because of its world class nursing care. It also is the only medical center in North Dakota to every have received the American Hospital Association's NOVA award for its commitment to meeting community need. The Medical Center has won numerous awards for overall clinical excellence, for service line excellence, for patient safety, for innovative technologies and for best practices.
