Linda Knodel is the Senior Vice President/CNO at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck North Dakota. Linda has held this position since 1989. She has served in such roles as the director of quality and risk management, the director of the renal dialysis and apheresis unit and staff nurse on medical floor.

Linda has a masters in healthcare administration from the University of Minnesota, a masters in nursing from the University of Mary, and completed a Wharton Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Linda is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and served as past NDONE President, former AONE Region 6 Board member, and former AHA Regional Policy Board member. Linda currently serves on the nominating committee for the American College of Healthcare Executives and held positions as past Regent for North Dakota and past president of the North Dakota ACHE Chapter. She also serves as a member of the North Dakota University System Southwest Region Workforce Training Board.

Linda speaks at the local, regional and national level on numerous topics including leadership, patient safety and informatics. She is recognized and published in several journals and manuscripts. Linda will serve as the Governor for ACHE from 2008 - 2011.
