Bruce Hetland, MD
Dr. Hetland joined Mid Dakota Clinic PrimeCare in July 1978. He is a specialist in Internal Medicine, and board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Diplomat of The National Board of Medical Examiners. In addition to internal medicine, his interests include sports medicine, geriatric medicine, corporate medicine, preventative medicine and wellness.
A native of North Dakota, Dr. Hetland received a bachelor of arts degree in zoology from North Dakota State University and a bachelor of science degree in medicine from the University of North Dakota. He received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals (Abbott Northwestern) in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Hetland is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine with the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the American medical Association, the North Dakota Medical Association, the Sixth District Medical Society, and the American Medical Joggers Association. He is licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota.
