Norman Eshoo, MD

Dr. Eshoo has practiced cardiology in Bismarck since August 1981, when he joined the Heart & Lung Clinic. He achieved certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease in 1981 and became certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine in 1977.

A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Dr. Eshoo received the Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in zoology, from the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, in 1970 and subsequently received the doctorate in medicine from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, in 1974. Thereafter, he completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles, followed by two years of fellowship in adult cardiology at the same institution, ending in 1979. He spent an additional year of training in cardiology and cardiac catheterization at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles ending in 1980.

Dr. Eshoo is licensed to practice medicine in the states of California and North Dakota. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Currently (2005) he serves as the Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service at St. Alexius Medical Center.
