Education and Leadership - Emergency & Trauma Center
The doctors and nurses in the St. Alexius Emergency & Trauma Center are dedicated to advancing their education while helping to provide educational opportunities to other students. Medical students and residents from the University of North Dakota and Nurse Practitioner students from the University of Mary all gain experience in the ETC by receiving guidance from one of the emergency room doctors.
Each year there are six to eight medical students, three to five residents and four nurse practitioners that observe and help aid in the treatment of St. Alexius Emergency & Trauma Center patients.
